HappinessCharge Precure! Episode 12 Review -“Dear Aino-san, your child’s grades are disgraceful…”

So this episode is the first filler episode we’ve seen in HaChaPc and it’s following with the trend that pink cures are bad at studying and fail the class. Hmmm…

Kenta, a student notorious for getting the bottom grades all the time this time was beaten by Megumi, who had the worst grades of the class.

Subsequently they both have to take a make up test otherwise the teacher will force them to stay after school to study.

Cure Heart is our Precure of the day!

Yuu-Yuu agrees to help Megumi study and Kenta, despairing in a corner is offered help also. Since Hime got 100% in English ,sure enough Megumi turns to her as a study buddy.

vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h27m35s150 vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h27m47s16

Using the teacher PreCard for some more advertising, Hime becomes a strict teacher.

However instead of going home to study, Kenta opts to go to baseball club, much to the girls’ displeasure

They go back to the embassy for some pre-study food and Blue finds out that  Megumi failed her test.  She says that its because she’s being a Precure, but Blue dismisses it as an excuse and warns her that if she fails the make-up test, he will ban her from being a Precure.

vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h30m25s60 vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h30m33s133

Sadly they both fall asleep at their desks…

vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h31m27s161 vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h31m29s182

However, strict Hime will not allow this to slide so easily…

Seiji makes maths fun for Kenta by comparing it to his favourite sport of baseball.

vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h33m24s53 vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h33m50s58

Kenta then has the motivation to go home and study but still finds himself wanting to play baseball.

vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h33m54s95 vlcsnap-2014-04-24-17h34m37s20

But  Namakelder comes along and unfortunately captures him.

The Cures end up with a baseball Saiark whom Megumi challenges to a match.

(Nice variant of rising sword haha)

vlcsnap-2014-04-24-22h47m42s220 vlcsnap-2014-04-24-22h47m57s110

Namakelder tries to discourage her and Lovely replies by saying that she knows she isn’t good at studying but will work hard for the sake of everyone else.

vlcsnap-2014-04-25-08h14m28s57 vlcsnap-2014-04-25-08h14m37s145

However she keeps losing due to the Saiark’s pitches. Honey’s Popcorn Cheer does her best to inspire Lovely.

Seiji, Hime and Yuu-Yuu figure out the pattern of the Saiark’s pitches…

vlcsnap-2014-04-25-08h17m07s104 vlcsnap-2014-04-25-08h17m12s159

And hits a home run, winning the game.

vlcsnap-2014-04-25-08h17m16s195 vlcsnap-2014-04-25-08h17m59s119

Namakelder may be evil but even he appreciates sportsmanship..

vlcsnap-2014-04-25-08h19m06s17 vlcsnap-2014-04-25-08h19m46s165

They get two more PreCards and what’s more, pass the make up test.

This filler episode is mainly to show children about the importance to studying. For little kids, not being a Precure sure would be a harsh punishment. Apart from this it serves little purpose.
